I’ve had “How to Revise and Re-Release Your Book” by Penny C. Sansevieri on my stack of books to read for a while as I had a tough time finding time to read for my own personal enjoyment and growth, while working through health issues last year. But, once a book catches my eye, I will read it no matter how long it gets for me to get to it. Little did I know I would end up studying it!
Sansevieri presents readers with a wealth bank of knowledge for Indie authors. Don’t let the size of book fool you – although thin, with less than 100 pages, it is filled with concrete, no-nonsense information on how and why to revise and re-release a book. The formatting makes it easy to read and follow.
From the way the information is organized to the way it is presented, the reader will not only find it a well-written easy and fast read; they will be able to use it as a workbook to get them started. In the beginning, I found it to be a guide to figure out if my title was worth the effort, time and investment to re-release. After that, Sansevieri took me by the hand and walked me through the different ways to revise my title, helping me with problems that I have been struggling as it relates to what to do with the cover, inside book design, and content. From there she explained the different ways to go about publishing the new release. Finally, Sansevieri lets readers pick her brain on marketing and promoting tips for the new release.
“How to Revise and Re-Release Your Book” by Penny C. Sansevieri is worth every penny and more! I found myself scribbling notes on its pages, excited about re-releasing my book published back in 2011. Furthermore, by the time I finished reading it the first time (in less than an hour) I already felt I had a first draft plan in my head and how to begin working on the revision and release of my new edition. I recommend with no second-thoughts, “How To Revise and Re-Release Your Book” by Penny C. Sansevieri as Five-Star How-To MUST have guide for all Authors. Well done!
