Marc Teatum


Marc Teatum (Born 1957) is an American award winning photographer and writer of contemporary literary fiction focusing on the outlaw biker culture, as well as a contributing columnist to motorcycle lifestyle magazines and newspapers. A professional photographer from 1975 to 2005, I turned to writing after meeting author Edward Winterhalder in 2010, and began a collaboration that resulted in the publishing of three novels by Blockhead Press.

His first three novels, One Light Coming, The Moon Upstairs, and The Blue and Silver Shark, published between 2011 and 2015 are available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble as hardcover, softbound or ebooks on every platform currently known have met with wonderful reader reviews.

From 2016 through 2019, he was a monthly columnist for The Motorcyclist Post magazine until the publication closed.

Since 2016, he has been a contributor to The Boston Sunday Globe feature: Fifty Words and as of May 2023, with the 17th piece, he was the most published writer in this feature.

In 2019 his first column appeared in the American Motorcycle Association members magazine.

December 2020 brought his first book of poetry: Moto-Haiku: 50 Words on Being A Biker to market.
In June 2023, his second book of in the 50 Words genre, Life in 50, was published.

There is also an interview from a radio program. He has been a guest on several regional community cable television programs, read at one or two book club meetings and done book signings at charity events.
