How is it mid-November already?! We’re in the final two months of accepting submissions for the 2022-2023 Reader Views Literary Awards program and thought it prudent to send an update with some general information—and take the opportunity to brag a little bit about our marvelous sponsors!

Still on the fence about entering your book? Here are some things you should know:

ALL ENTRIES RECEIVE A BOOK REVIEW AND SOCIAL MEDIA COVERAGE

The review will be posted on The Reader Views Book Review Blog. It will also be posted on Goodreads, Google Books and BookBub if your book is listed with those organizations, as well as on our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest sites.

TOTAL CASH PRIZES OF $2,500! TOTAL MARKETING PRIZES OF $5,000

Three fiction winners and three non-fiction winners will receive cash prizes. Various marketing prizes from our sponsors will be awarded to multiple winners. See our complete list of awards and prizes

OUR CURRENT CONTEST IS FOR BOOKS WITH COPYRIGHT DATES OF 2022 OR EARLIER

All books with a 2022 copyright date or earlier are eligible for our current program. Books with copyright dates are eligible for our “CLASSICS” category only.

We’ve also received several inquiries about books with a 2023 copyright date. Books with a 2023 copyright date are not eligible for the current program. The 2023 program opens May 1, 2023.

YOU WILL RECEIVE A REVIEW OF YOUR BOOK BEFORE THE FINALISTS AND WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED

As soon as your book is read by one of our reviewers they will write a thorough review. You will receive a copy of your review once the review has been published on our book review blog.

SENDING PRINT COPIES?

If you plan to submit print copies of your book (as opposed to an ebook), plan to submit as early as you can. Our reviewers read your books in full and they need time to do this. Waiting on receipt of print copies could will delay the final results in the spring. A good rule of thumb: if you plan to submit after December 15, 2022, please send us an electronic version of your book.

FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 31, 2021.

ALREADY HAVE A REVIEW FOR YOUR TITLE?

If you previously submitted your book for a review with us through one of our publicity campaigns, YOUR BOOK IS NOT ENTERED IN THE CONTEST. The awards program is entirely separate from our publicity packages. If you would like to enter your book in the contest, you can do so here now.
