Irma Friedrich could have any thing she could want. She comes from a very affluent family. She does not want a thing at this time. She wants to have an opportunity to try out for the Wild West show. Her mother Willa is very hesitant about allowing her to chase her dream of being a trick rider in the show. Willa thinks the only way she can protect Irma from danger is to keep her out of the show. Why risk injury from falling from a horse?

Irma and Minnie are the best of friends and cousins too. While Irma has her sights set on being a star trick rider, Minnie has romantic pursuits; she wants to gain the attention of young Orrin. Irma seems more interested in horses than men until she meets Shep, a star cowboy in the show. Irma gets the chance to try out for the show and Shep becomes one of her #1 fans. However, there is another cowboy who wants the chance to vie for her attention.

What will Irma do? She is being courted by two handsome cowboys. Could it be that God will show her in what direction her life should be headed? Sometimes our best laid plans are not what God has planned for us, and there are bumps along the road. We find out that God has something much more beautiful and blessed for our lives.

I enjoyed “Unbridled Dreams” from cover to cover. Stephanie Grace Whitson is an incredible author who allows you to feel like you are right there, experiencing the Wild West show along with these extraordinary characters. She uses actual historical facts along with a storyline to keep you glued to reading this book. I hope she writes many more stories like this one. I am not surprised in the least that Ms Whitson is a best-selling author and two-time Christy award finalist.
