McDonalds, Subways, and a host of others line the streets. Yes, they are all franchises hoping to deliver the best to you quickest! Churches in the 21st-century seem to be hopping on the bandwagon. Does bigger always mean better? Do more locations strengthen the message? It seems like a lot of churches are trying to make it seem like they can give you just what you want when you want it. But the true message doesn’t always come through clearly...the truth just may be hiding under that attractive outer coating.

“Franchising McChurch” gives you a concise look at what is happening behind the scenes at churches throughout the world. Is it more important to be attractive enough to get more bodies in the seats no matter what is being taught? Sometimes, those messages that make you feel all good inside aren’t what really need to be spoken. If you are a church leader or part of the leadership team at your church, looking for more information on what other churches are doing and at what cost, this is definitely the book for you.

If only more churches would take some of the competition in being bigger and better than the others in their area and cooperate with one another. In “Franchising McChurch,” the authors Thomas White and John Yeats show the reader it’s time to evaluate just what areas we want to focus our ministry on and do all to the glory of God. Just because something is fast and easy it’s not giving you the nutrition that your soul needs.
