Mary Wagner went from a journalism student to law student and, through sharing her journey in life, she provides readers with her great sense of humor on life experiences and how we handle, or don't handle them. The thing readers will get from this reading is to choose you battles wisely, enjoy life and don’t sweat the small stuff.

Through twenty-eight journeys we all have taken at one time or another, the author shares her mistakes, miscalculations and lessons learned. She amazingly jumped into writing after being told by friends and co-workers she has a lot of wisdom to share. Do you remember the first time you had to talk in front of a crowd or do a presentation and decided you could wing it? Well, we all know how that turned out. How about the time you decided to get back into the dating scene and ended up dating a rebel?

With great humor, the author reminds us that we all have ventured down new paths - some of which worked well and others not so well. We all have to remember that there are life lessons in everything we do. Sometimes in our crazy, hectic world, as the author relates, we need to escape the craziness- go for a ride, sit on the beach or re-explore things we used to do.

Readers will find - as I did – reading “Heck on Heels” by Marty T. Wagner was like having tea with a wonderful friend and re-living the wonderful and crazy things we did in life. Ms. Wagner doesn’t feel sorry for her experiences or ride the pity wagon. She just trucks on and is thankful for the experiences that she has had.
