Admittedly, this is the first book by M.L. Tyndall I have read and I felt that overall it was a very relaxing, entertaining read.  The characters were very strong and the story was complex, and gripping.

Loyal to her family, Dominique boards a ship to England to save her brother.  Being held by a cousin in France, he will be killed if Dominique does not do the cousin’s bidding.  Praying to God for the strength to deceive and gain her brother’s freedom Dominique becomes the governess for Admiral Chase Randall and a traitor all in the same day. 

With many gripping twists and turns “The Falcon and the Sparrow” by M.L. Tyndall is a story to read.  Love, deception, pain and honor intermingle into a very interesting read.  Disregard the lack of historical meticulousness and curl up on the couch to enjoy this love story; it will leave you with a grin on your face and a warm fuzzy in your heart
