Jordan Summers once again presents her fans with her latest installment in the Atlantean’s Quest series in “Atlantean’s Quest: Atlantean Heat.” 

Atlantean Cassandra has longed to return to Earth for exploration, since her people’s exodus.  She is fascinated with Earthlings, wondering what the males are like.  When Cassandra volunteers for a mission to earth she asks to be dropped off in Los Angeles.

Buzz Rittner, former NASA Astronaut, is jogging on the beach.  He longs to return to space but because of exposure to radiation poisoning he’s been permanently grounded.  Suddenly before him is a beautiful naked blonde.  He continues jogging but soon feels Cassandra’s gaze upon him. When he sees that she’s following him he wonders if she’s a space groupie or crazy.  Buzz takes her back to his hotel where she joins him in the shower. 

Buzz and Cassandra are from such different cultures that they don’t understand each other.  The excitement of space, planets and the unknown is a common love.  When Cassandra asks Buzz if he’d like to travel in space he “knows” she is either nuts or a groupie.  Yet he’s drawn to her in a way he’s never been drawn to a woman before.  Only after he almost loses her does he realize that he loves her.  He clutches her tightly to him and never wants to let go.

Jordan Summers is a talented author.  I always look forward to her latest offering.  Personally I hope she keeps writing the Atlantean Series.  The plots are fascinating.  This is a much shorter book than the others in the series, for that reason the characters in this book are not developed quite as deeply.  Cassandra is beautiful with a great innocence.  Buzz is a bitter man yet likable.  The two characters work well together.  Buzz’s sister Carrie is mentioned.  I have a feeling we will get to know her in a future book.  I highly recommend “Atlantean’s Quest: Atlantean Heat” to those that enjoy erotic romance.
