Dr. Sujansky has written a series of books on organizational development and achievement.  The KEYNotes to Achievement books are simple and brief, yet profound in content and messaging.  Dr. Sujansky discusses the traits and characteristics of good leadership, then offers simple and insightful suggestions for implementing or carrying out successes.  She talks to challenges and opportunities, priorities and communication, as retaining a work-life balance.  Where many hundreds of textbooks have investigated and theorized on leadership, Dr. Sujansky simply and effectively gets directly to what it takes.

As the retired Chief of Police for a city near Seattle, I earned two graduate degrees in Business and Public Administration, and taught leadership and how to build high performance organizations.  I fully understand how to build leaders and can with confidence state Dr. Sujansky knows well herself.  This book should be included in the learning toolkit of every manager.
