Poet, Playwright, Producer and Publisher, these are but some of the titles that have been held by Mr. Strozier. As founder and Artistic Director of La Muse Venale Acting Troup he has directed four plays and a musical. Living in New York City, Stefan is close to his artistic ventures and his love of writing and the theatre. On top of all this, he is founder of an ezine called Audience and CEO of World Audience Inc., a 21st century publishing house.

“Schizophrenia Poetry” is the fuzzy line between sanity and insanity. As in “Snowy Ridge,” a beautiful descriptive verse of a writers anguish over lost work. But then how quickly he recovers and writes a heartfelt verse of colorful landscape. Then there are the depressive ramblings of a lost soul described in “Voices.”  Dark sensations of the mind brought out in vivid recollection of the death of a friend. The darkness continues to mount as you get further into “Schizophrenia Poetry.” You are drawn into the mind of this wretched soul, to feel his pain and the suffering that has plagued him. This is most evident in such first person verse as “Waking Dreams.”  Here is a prime example of the pestilence that the writers mind has conjured up – tremendously dark and ingeniously presented in a dramatic manner.

From the standpoint of dramatically dark, “Schizophrenia Poetry” is the utopian. If you are looking for a volume of gut wrenching, heartbreaking verse; then this 56 page little book is one for your library. I was not impressed with everything I read, but for the most part “Schizophrenia Poetry” took me to places both scary and intriguing. I gave it a B and consider it worth a look.
