Dynamic motivational speaker Doug Stevenson instructs viewers on how to be an amazing public speaker. In Doug’s DVD he demonstrates how to capture the attention of listeners and hold it.

Don’t rent, but own the stage, is the first thing Mr. Stevenson teaches.  When you rent the stage you rush.  But when you own the stage you take possession and your listeners will know the difference.  There are four types of language: verbal, vocal, physical, and peace.

Among the thing discussed:  connecting to the audience and choosing from the 7 types of stories.  One of the most important statements stressed is “the messenger is as important as the message.”

Mr. Stevenson explains how to successfully make a point by telling a story.  You relive the story, bringing it to life for your audience.  He tells a hilarious story he calls “his airport story.”  He demonstrates the use of detail, sensation and reaction to convey the images to your listeners.

Doug Stevenson is an exciting, gifted speaker.  His voice is pleasant to listen to.  His style and mannerisms are engaging.  Mr. Stevenson conveys the use of the different skills he presents.  He tells his “airport story’ successful demonstrating how to tell a story to get your point across.  Mr. Stevenson’s method is simple and easy to understand, even for non-professionals. Occasionally I speak in public.  I intend to make the most of this valuable information to prepare my next presentation.  I highly recommend this set to all speakers.  No matter in what capacity you may be public speaking you will benefit from this DVD, “Never Be Boring Again.”
