“Missing You” is a small collection of poems written by Ruth Spiker and serving as a therapy to make her feel better inside by getting her feelings onto paper.  Putting her feelings into poems and compiling those poems into a book had always been a dream for Ruth, and she has now fulfilled that dream with the creation of “Missing You.”  Writing poetry became a reality for Ruth when she was about twenty-six years old and a tragedy occurred in her home.  Poetry became a passion.

Everyone should be able to relate with the poems included in “Missing You.”  Mrs. Spiker speaks of missing a loved one, cherishing the simple things in life, sharing simple moments, and the importance of each member of a family.

If you enjoy heartfelt poetry, you should find meaning by reading “Missing You,” and the poems are appropriate for all ages and genders.  With fewer than fifty pages, this book is small, but its meaningful content is large.  I recommend “Missing You” to those who enjoy poetry.
