The author has provided an excellent year-long program to help readers make their life like they want it. Often we get down in a rut and can’t get out. Or we say “I’ll do it tomorrow.” But now is the time to start working on making changes.

One of the things the author said is that in order to do this one must be passionate about doing it. If you go into this program halfway, you will give up.

Each chapter has reflections for every week and then on days six and seven there is an exercise to do. This incorporates what you have learned and what you want to change. The topics range from really looking at yourself, to include your inner self to facing challenges of daily life. It is easy to read, well written and thought provoking. His recommendation is to read the book all the way through and then go back and work on each week.

“Reflective Empowerment: Empower Yourself” is an excellent resource not only for me for some of my college students who seem to be lost. I read this through and now will go back and work the program.
