Smokey Annicelli is a disgraced former New York Police detective turned Private Investigator.  When asked to find out what happened to a fashion model, he does so by delving into her mysterious and colorful past.  The reader is drawn into the plot from the first pages and is left wanting more at the end.

The main character is portrayed as a gritty ex-cop with a multitude of flaws that bring him to life.  While searching for what happened to Eve, the reader is also drawn into Smokey’s ongoing search for himself after being shot and subsequently losing his job and family.  Whether in New York City or traveling across the United States to Florida or California, Smokey runs into his fair share of trouble while searching for answers.  Along the way Smokey becomes involved with a varied cast of unforgettable characters including a Godfather-type mentor, a free-spirited beach girl, and a sportswear designer with her own secrets. Action-packed, Eve Missing is whodunit full of twists and turns that will leave you guessing until the end.
