We've all wondered what makes the "other sex" tick and while this book won't give away all the secrets, it may just give you enough insight to at least begin to understand what they're thinking!

I have to confess, I read this from the obvious "woman's perspective" and at times had to chuckle. It made me wonder if a man would read it and do the same! Taking into concept that men and women definitely think differently, this husband and wife couple take a chance on letting us in on the "other side" of the mind and see what's really going on.

My favorite section of the book has to be “Seven Things Men do to Drive Women Insane.” It's a somewhat comical satire with a splash of realism thrown into a huge amount of "Wow-ness" that leaves the lady reader not only shaking her head in agreement but in amazement too! Such simple questions as "Why do men insist upon flipping through the channels with the remote" to "Why can't a man put the toilet seat down?" not only are addressed, but somewhat answered by both sexes.

I'm certain the perspective of humor is going to be completely based upon your own sex, as I hardly think a man will find it funny that we women poke fun of their "channel surfing skills" they will undoubtedly laugh at the comments about women and their "nagging abilities."

While the book does take a somewhat humorous approach at the difference between sexes, it also gives a pretty good insight to what is going on in the opposite sex's brain. For instance, the comment "just because a man is quiet doesn't mean he doesn't love her, it just means he needs some quiet time" gives the ladies an insight to what we often think is him being distant. The comical look at women and multitasking might give men an insight as to why we seem to be able to do everything at once and get frustrated when you can't. They help explain why we women are happy to enjoy one program, while guys must surf through the hundreds of channels to stimulate his need for quick results. A wonderful, relaxed way to learn about your mate's traits with a little insight about how they're built, you will enjoy “Why Men Don't Have a Clue and Women Always Need More Shoes” as a helpful resource to figuring out what makes the opposite sex tick!
