Kristin Burns, nanny and aspiring photographer, appears to be on the brink of having it all.  She is nanny to two children she adores, is close to winning the man of her dreams, and her ultimate dream of a career as a photographer appears about to come true.  However, Kristin’s life takes a frightening new turn which begins with a recurring nightmare that may or may not be coming true, and continues as Kristen has encounters with people from her past…people long dead.   These events, coupled with the anxiety of someone discovering the man of her dreams is the father in the family she works for, send Kristin down a terrifying path to discover if what is happening to her is real, imagined…or something worse. 

All of the adjectives used for describing great thrillers…such as exhilarating, suspenseful, exciting, spine-tingling, electrifying…are all fitting to describe “You’ve Been Warned!” From the very first page, readers will be drawn into this book.  I discovered once I began reading this book, I could not put it down until I read the very last word.  The short chapters add to the fast-pace and intensity of this book.  The authors have created a story packed with puzzling events that are clues to the startling and unexpected ending. Although he departs from the detective thriller, James Patterson does not disappoint with this gripping story.  A must-read for fans of James Patterson and suspense novels!
