Preston Parrish has written a book which addresses some of these questions and many more. He takes an in-depth look at the heart of God before Jesus came, while He was here and since he has departed to His heavenly home. In the areas of before His coming, the following topics are investigated: begotten, decreed, foretold, anticipated and prepared. While He was on the earth just thirty-something years, He had a vast array of terms to describe Him. Words like threatened, praying, teaching, working, serving, rejected and hated just to name a few. Since His departure, He has been interceding, returning, ruling and worshipped.

Preston Parrish uses a very easy to read and understand manner. Throughout the pages of this excellent book, the author stresses that you have to come to terms with God on His terms not on our own. “Windows into the Heart of God” gives 31 life-changing glimpses of Jesus. As there are 28-31 days in a month, the reader could easily spend a day a month on each chapter. The author gives you plenty of Scripture verses to support all his various points about Jesus.  After reading this book, you won't ever look at Jesus in the same way.

Just as opening a window will give you a breath of fresh air, so will opening and discovering that “Windows into the Heart of God” will bring a rejuvenated approach to seeing Jesus as a true person yet true God.
