Katie has a silver heart-shaped pendant with an amethyst nugget in it.  She is told that amethysts are for protection, success and good luck.  She also is told that it increases the power of seduction.  Katie really needs it for this use.  She hasn’t had sex in almost two years and is in the Army, about to be deployed.
           
Before Katie has to go, she invites a group of friends to get together at a home on a lake.  Sandy and Tim, and Jenny and Frank are two couples that she has known for a while.  Mark and Jarrod also show up.  Mark is bisexual and Jarrod is homosexual, or so he thinks.  Things are really heating up for Katie at night.  The first night there, she finds herself overcome with lust as she listens to the other couples making love.  She goes outside and cools off in a lake.  She encounters Jarrod and Mark.  They both find her very attractive.  They convince Katie to enjoy herself with them.  The powers of the pendant are at work for everyone. 

The friendships among the couples are important to Katie, however, she really gets an intimate glimpse into each couples’ lives as she listens and watches them in their sensual moments.  So will you as the reader.  She finds watching Jarrod and Mark to be a turn on, and when she is asked to join them, she is taken over the edge.  “Amethyst Rain” is not for the faint of heart or close-minded people.  It is highly erotic and made me very happy that amethysts are my birthstone.
