Tempting Offer
I will be the first to admit that when it comes to present day romance novels, I have never liked them. I could never get into the feel of the story. But I was totally wrong with this book. I became so engrossed with “Tempting Offer,” I couldn't put it down. I read it at home, I read it at work, I read it at soccer practice, I even read it a softball practice. I think one of the reasons I got into the book so much was the fact that I could take out the little modern day items, and could picture the old west, which is really hard to do in the present day novels I have tried to read before. I loved the fact that Jeff wasn't afraid to wear his feeling on his sleeve, out there for Anne to see, feel, and hear. He wasn't afraid, he was stubborn. It was Anne that played that part, which was a refreshing change for once. I love this book. I plan on reading it again, soon. |
