“More Tools for Teaching Social Skills in School: Grades 3-12” provides a wealth of ideas and lessons to incorporate into the school day.  Each lesson offers teacher notes, ideas for teacher interaction with students, suggested activities for integrating the lessons into the core curriculum, role-play options, a think-sheet and a mini-poster.

As a school administrator, I deal with discipline and behavioral issues everyday.  Using this resource, I was able to create a very successful mini-workshop for several students who needed supplemental character education.  The students were engaged and proactive throughout the workshop.  The school counselor loved the book, and was excited to have such a great resource on campus.

The book also has a CD-Rom with reproducible worksheets and posters, which is very helpful.  I highly recommend “More Tools for Teaching Social Skills in School: Grades 3-12” to anyone who works with children on a regular basis.
