Ever feel alone?  Jamaican-born Suzette Farquharson-Morgan assures her readers that they never have to be as long as they look to God for strength.  Her easy-to-read book, 'Living Testimonies' uplifts and encourages anyone that needs a shoulder, whether to lean or to cry on.   Sprinkled with appropriate Bible verses and hopeful quotes, this inspirational book details her own as well as two other Christian women's tribulations – each assuring us that no problem is too great for the Lord.

"You can do all things through Christ Jesus."  Farquharson-Morgan begins 'Living Testimonies' by recounting her own dedication to the Lord and His hand in her life's path.  As a full-time employee, graduate student, wife, and mom, she eventually came to realize her skills could be put to better use – publishing a book of faith.  Her confidence in receiving heavenly blessings led her to quit her job and concentrate on her writing pursuits.  Despite her severely-reduced income, she continued to tithe and began receiving those blessings, too timely to be coincidental.

"Trusting him means to trust His wisdom."  Wanda's story is one of complete trust.  Gripped suddenly by a crippling autoimmune disorder, the 31-year-old displayed her unfaltering faith in the Lord's ability to heal her and spread her positive attitude to all that she came in contact with.  Despite several years of pain, swelling, a concoction of different medications, and plenty to be frustrated about, Wanda retained her sheer enthusiasm in God and eventually conquered her illness.

"It's in the valleys I grow."  Elaine's story is one of seemingly endless suffering – a house fire resulting in total loss, enduring personal health problems, and burying parents, in-laws, a husband, and children.  Each traumatic incidence had a profound impact on her life yet her story reminds us that God does not allow us to endure more than we can handle.

Farquharson-Morgan's first book teaches us that simply trusting in God doesn't mean He will make life easy for us.  Her stories of strength and courage serve as living examples that trust, faith, and prayer can get us through even the most horrific of events and bring us the peace that passes understanding.
