Translated from the German version published in 1975, “Reflex Zone Therapy of the Feet” by Hanne Marquardt, founder of fifteen reflexology schools in Germany and abroad, gives reflexology professionals a concise manual of not only diagrams but applications and treatment zones for ailments. Although there are many books on the market by various experts I feel this one is the most to the point.
As a former psychosynthesis therapist, I used reflexology when indicated. Reading through the information given I did learn some new (to me) facts that I didn’t learn from other experts in the field. As well, I liked the section on case studies. As a lifetime student of alternative health this section was of interest to me. I believe that practicing professionals will also find this useful.
I believe “Reflex Zone Therapy of the Feet” is a book that should be in every bodyworker’s library. It would be a wonderful addition to the already published information and used as a resource. Hanne Marquardt is very knowledgeable and we have much to gain from her expertise.
