“Techno-Noir” is compiled and edited by two very good writers who also contributed to this very exciting book. Eva Batonne is a prize winning short story writer and editor who has done much in the way of short story anthologies. She is the creator of the Joan Lambert series based on her work with the LAPD. Eva has also created a living anthology of short stories for the internet. This forum has been running for over five years and is a stepping stone for emerging mystery writers.

Jeffrey Marks is an Ohio based writer with many books to his credit. He has written and edited such fine works as “Who Was That Lady,” “US Grant Mysteries” and “The Scent of Murder.” Mr. Marks makes his contribution to “Techno-Noir” in a fine written work called “Underdeveloped”.

From “A Winters Tale” to “Almost Deleted”, the eighteen stories that make up “Techno-Noir,” will keep you glued to the (223 plus) pages. These stories are told with such conviction and realism that sometimes I would forget they were fiction. Spine tingling, exciting, mysterious and inviting is the best way to describe this very well compiled volume. The writing is exceptional, the presentation is professional and the cover reminded me of Mickey Spillane. “Techno-Noir” was definitely a very fun book to read and I enjoyed every minute of it. For all the mystery fans out there, I suggest you take a look at “Techno-Noir” as a candidate for your next reading adventure. As with all the good ones, I give “Techno-Noir” my highest rating of an A+.
