“Dancing with Eternity” is a story about Mohandas – ‘Mo’- a man who has a long past with nothing to show for it but his debt.  As he lives out his life on one of the moons in the galaxy, he meets a woman named Steel at a bar.  She offers him a job on board her starship, the F.S. Lightdancer.  Steel does not give Mo any details on what type of work Mo will do but Mo realizes that he doesn’t have many options where he is.  Taking a chance on blind faith, Mo embarks on a journey to the unknown. This book follows Mo and Steel and their crew as they journey to an illegal and dangerous area of the universe known as Brainard’s Planet.  Their mission will be one that impacts all of human-kind.  They will also find a journey that reveals their own the past lives that were never erased from their memories.

“Dancing with Eternity” is a fascinating sci-fi thriller that depicts the world as it might be in the future.  I liked that the storyline had an element of thought-provoking controversy that examines our love for humanity.  I will caution though - this book will probably seem a bit too boring for those who cannot sit through an episode of Star Trek.  The author uses quite an advanced vocabulary of words that some might view as just too “out of this world” to comprehend.    I think the book is well written and it quite surprisingly held my attention the whole time.  It is a fairly quick read because the flow of the storyline keeps you fascinated and intrigued.  This is one book that sci-fi enthusiasts should put on their “must-read” list.
