These authors have had previous bestsellers in the United Kingdom with this type of satire and humor on subjects that each of us has considered unworthy of our attention. In their latest book geared toward the United States, they have dissed anything from the President to Brittany Spears.

Taking on a “who cares?” attitude, the authors have taken promotions, important people and commercials to new standards that address what most people probably think. While there are more important things to think about in the world, the stand against things that we the ordinary people could care less about is surmount in this book.

Although I have always thought that there are many things I would rather see on TV and advertisements, and have voiced my opinion, I find this book to be something I would have not chosen on my own to read. There are short paragraphs about everything you can think of with the author’s opinions on them. Is this some sort of conspiracy to get everyone to rise against all news, magazine articles and advertisements? This book is for people, I believe, who have a negative view on life. If the author’s thought they were being funny or sarcastic- I didn’t like it.

I think “Is It Just Me or Is Everything Shit?” is written for the British humor.  Mother is British and I have never understood their humor.
