Attention. Deficit. Disorder.
Author Brad Listi quotes Anthony Robbins, “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” This quote, in and of itself, attempts to sum up this book. “Attention. Deficit. Disorder.” isn’t at all what you’d think it would be. It’s not a book by or about someone with ADD, what it is, is a uniquely written novel. The novel incorporates fiction, fact, and quotes to tell a story of how one person deals with life, death and guilt. The story starts with the main character, Wayne Fencer, finding out about his ex-girlfriend’s suicide, and continues with his trip to the funeral, and the events that take place during and after. We are invited along as Wayne takes his own personal journey to find meaning in life and some sort of closure with death. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good novel. I found myself unable to put it down for too long until I was finished. |
