My Life, My Faith: The Aroma of Faithfulness and Truthfulness
“My Life, My Faith” was written for all Christians to teach us how to be better Christians and lead a more faith-based life. Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee tells his life story in this autobiography. He used his faith to overcome disease, poverty, and family issues while living Korea. While many people become angry and lose their faith in God when going through hardships, Dr. Lee’s trials and tribulations brought him closer to God. He attempted both traditional and non-traditional forms of healing on himself. He discovered that nothing worked until he received God into his life. He even began a church called Manmin (All Creation) Joon-ang (Central) to pray for all people. Through his church he has been able to assist in the healing of many people. He tells their incredible stories in “My Life, My Faith.” His own personal experiences taught him to be more empathetic to the needs of the people. Reading Rev. Dr. Lee’s personal story in “My Life, My Faith” made me realize how short I fall in the category of my own faith. I really would have never felt this way if I hadn’t read his book. I admire him for the strength of character that he developed in spite of all the hardships that he was facing. His ability to heal and help others also helps him to reach out and touch more lives. Being able to personally witness his personal healing gifts would make it impossible not to have some form of faith. I admire Rev. Dr. Lee for the difference that he has made for the people in this world. I hope that his good works will continue.
