I love this workbook!  It’s exactly what I needed in this time of my transformation.  The exercises are life changing as are the personal stories, pages of poetry, and messages to the reader.  It’s a good way one can delve into, and not only to find the inner wisdom within but to raise ones’ self to higher states of consciousness.

Joan C. King, in “Cellular Wisdom for Women,” gives us the opportunity to discover ourselves through her understanding of neuroscience and our understanding of our self.  In the first chapter she addresses the “not good enough” syndrome by giving us the chance to read a poem, reflect on our inner being, and write about a time when we didn’t feel good enough.  It’s a perfect place to start because I can venture to say most of us have at one time or another felt not being good enough.  She then has us write the specific thoughts or words that trigger the feeling followed by reflecting and writing when these thoughts diminish our creativity. The final step is to recreate the same scenario but in a version that supports our freedom.  Once this portion is done, King takes us through more steps to the final edition of completely changing our pictures, our imprints, our thoughts, and our future reactions. Once complete, we are able to proceed to other similar exercises and in the end emerge as a whole, transformed being on a cellular level.

The whole process is simple, thorough, and life transforming.  Joan C. King in “Cellular Wisdom for Women” is the perfect guide to wholeness. Through kind words and guidance from the author, our own wisdom within emerges to a place of well being, while having a healthy relationship with ourselves, which in turn reflects on how we communicate with others.  As I said, I love this workbook!
