Ruth D. Kerce began her career in writing in the fifth-grade after winning a short story contest. From that time on she continued writing short stories, poetry, science-fiction and even tried her hand at children’s stories. Nothing seemed to fulfill her till one day she was given a romance book and she found her niche. Ruth acquired a Master’s Degree in Computer Science while pursuing her dream to be a writer. She is a graduate of a two-year writing program and a member of numerous writing groups. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and Desert Rogues Romance Writers Group, just to name a few. Her latest book is a western novel called Wild Temptation (available in print and eBook form).

A hard working girl trying to take care of her aged mother will do anything to ensure good care for her. Hannah McBride’s mother was in a private nursing home and would be moved to a state facility if she could not keep up her medical bills. For Hannah, it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to handle the high cost of her care. She was determined to make the money that she needed to get back on track and to keep her mother in the nursing home. The intrigue builds as Hannah’s desperation causes her to go to her old high-school friend Lilly. Lilly ran a high-class, stripper-for-hire service and paid very well.

With no alternative other than to accept a job from Lilly, Hannah decides to do it. Her logic being, she would do it this one time and that would bring her current. But fate plays a strange hand when Hannah arrives at the bachelor party only to find another school chum there, Bradley Miller. Hannah is embarrassed when she recognizes him but continues to perform her striptease, hoping it will end soon. Her prayers are answered and the party ends in midstream before anything can transpire. From there, the story takes a very romantic twist. They are finally alone and Brad makes his move.

“Stripped” was a very good erotic story that will keep you glued to the pages and not let you go. It has a nice romantic plot with a bit of drama and humor. I gave it an A on my scale for its well-written storyline and the ability to keep me reading. It is an adult book and so not recommended for anyone underage.
