Sixteen is when Seth Jani started writing the poetry in this book “Let Us Rejoice,” a compilation of thoughts, feelings, and musings. Twenty-one is what he is now.

As I read the poems, taking time to digest each one I wondered at what age Jani wrote that specific piece.  Regardless of when, I am thoroughly inspired by this young man’s ability to go deep inside and pull out words that have so much profound meaning.

“Cross Roads” touched me as it began:

In the dark room of my personal sorrow
A solitary light gives substance
To the shadows on the wall,
And a few words beat against the silence,
Like an ancient music that sill resounds
In the bowels of the night.

This is only a sampling. Seth Jani is a master with words.  “Let Us Rejoice” will give you inspiration to look deep within yourself and most of all, parallel to Jani’s inner journey.
