Next in Line: Everyman’s Guide for Writing an Autobiography
Every person in the world has a history and stories to tell. Few of us ever record them. What a loss of genuine and often interesting history that much of the world could learn from. I consider my own history, a 30-year law enforcement career, including having been a Chief of Police. I wrote my own book, “Leading Beyond Tradition,” but did not record my own history. I’ve often thought about how many stories I’ve told, how many stories people want to hear; if I only had a tape recorder when I was telling them. There are so many, and that’s just my career. After reading Mr. Jagoe’s book, I intend to start. This is an excellent step-by-step guide to writing your autobiography. I’m extremely glad I read this and will follow it. I strongly urge you to consider your own autobiography. If getting started has been difficult, or you don’t know how, or don’t think you have the time to do it, Mr. Jagoe will show you how. “Next in Line: Everyman’s Guide for Writing an Autobiography” is well worth the small investment you’ll make in it, considering the legacy you leave for your family, the lessons everyone can learn, and the historical value.
