This book is really great and we learned about Sacagawea in my social studies class. I liked the part when Sacagwea heard Lewis say "Chief" in Indian and she knew that it was her brother, so she was happy.  When I got to the end of the book I didn’t know that Sacagawea died and it made cry, but it was still a great book and I liked reading it. I learned that she had to give up her kids but Charbonneau made a deal with Clark that when the children grew up he would give them to her. When they got to Sacagawea`s homeland the Indians greeted them and sang a song. Lastly, I learned that the people traded their goods for other stuff from the Indians like horses. It was a great book to read.

This was a very educational and easy fun book for Haylee. It wasn't overly detailed which helped keep her attention. I will recommend this book to her Social Studies teacher this year.
