Knights of the Ruby Order: Torn 5
Torn, Knight of The Ruby Order, is held captive, beaten and tortured. His only chance at salvation is Honey Wine, sister to The Alva. Honey Wine is strong and muscular, once the head of the Alva’s Guard, now she is little more than a zookeeper feeding the “beasts.” The Alva is cruel and vicious, taking pleasure in the pain of others. She demands that her prisoners bow to hideous wishes. She demands that they agree to kill at her command. The Alva considers men beasts and uses them for breeding or Entertainment. Hell is the best way to describe “The Entertainment.” “Beasts,” men, are pitted against men. Master Sparro also had captured a Knight of The Ruby Order,” his knight had forgotten the vows he’d made. Honey Wine and Torn are forced to mate as though they are animals, while the guard Bron watches, even drugging Torn so that he cannot resist the instinct. Honey Wine is torn between fear and disgust; she is determined to get Torn away from Alva even if it means risking her own life. Torn sees the compassion in her eyes and pledges to give her shelter with the order if they manage to escape. An old woman, a healer, offers Honey Wine information that may lead to their escape, if they can put their plan into action before Torn is forced to the Entertainment again. The Entertainment is cruel and vicious turning men into beasts that kill for the pleasure of those watching. “Knights of The Ruby Order: Torn 5” is a powerful, erotic romance by Kate Hill. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I eagerly turned the pages anxiously wanting to know whether Honey Wine and Torn could escape her cruel sister Alva, wanting to know would happen when or if they returned to the Order. Honey Wine is a strong courageous female lead, with great depth and emotions. Torn has strength and stamina that is beyond imagination. The love this couple has for each other is evident. When I read I want romance as well as sex; this book has that and more. I enjoyed this book but “reader beware” it is brutal. I highly recommend this book to fans of erotic fiction. |
