“Whistleblower” by Richard Hicks is a book you won t want to put down beginning with page one.  The author has done a tremendous job describing his characters, conversations and the investigation of murder that will change his main character’s life.

The story revolves around Mike Stratton, a former married lawyer whose life is idealistic until he decides that materialistic items mean more to him than his family and his ethics as a lawyer. After completing two years in prison for illegal insider trading, Stratton is now considered a murderer of a woman he dated in high school. The problem is he doesn’t remember any of it, or does he?
