Dr. Hawkins has provided readers, married or not, with a resourceful book regarding when relationships get into trouble. His easy-to-understand and follow guide addresses how to know when your relationship is in trouble, communication, safety and many other topics.

Through the use of stories of various couples’ relationships, the author describes crisis situations and then follows up with tips on how to resolve those issues. Chapter 7, ‘Eliminating Barriers to Change,’ was very informative. We often do negative things out of habit and don’t realize we are doing it.

Each chapter of “10 Lifesavers for Every Couple” also hints at letting God help you with your life. The author includes scriptures that relate to what he has been discussing. With over thirty years of experience with couples, Dr. David Hawkins has given readers great information.
