“No Time for Christmas” of the “Love Beyond Time” series is a futuristic, historical, heart-melting love story.  Curl up by the fire, read by the glow of the tree lights, and it will put you in the right frame of mind for the holidays.

Joshua Forrester is a self-obsessed workaholic trying to avoid his life.  For years he has been going through the motions of living even though his heart died many years ago when his loving wife was in an accident and left him to raise two young sons alone.  He is a bitter man who does not slow down to see the beautiful things in life.  His life is more attached to his Blackberry than any human, and this attachment alters his life in ways he never thought it would.

On December 21 Joshua steps into the shower in 2006; he steps out of the shower in 1890.  The year 1890 life moves much slower than 2006 and with this change in speed Joshua learns to appreciate life.  He is given another chance in love and reintroduced to his two wonderful sons.  Not knowing if he will be able to hold onto this love, Joshua searches his heart and decided to grab life and give love another shot.

Finding out that his sons also find love in the future, and the past, the family is reunited just in time for the holidays.  Thanks to the Blackberry and his daughter-in-law, Shauna, they return, with new love, back to December 23, 2006.  “No Time for Christmas” makes you appreciate those you hold close to your heart and it reminds you to enjoy the show the next time you see it fall.
