Polly Perkins is a photographer in Oregon and has been invited by her friend to take pictures at her wedding in the National Park in Caldera. She decides that she will take her eccentric mother with her for a little break. What results is total chaos and Polly and her friends find themselves in a murder mystery. Everyone is a suspect, including Polly’s mother who sleepwalks and isn’t really sure what she does during that time.

In addition to the murder, Polly has found that her friends have invited an old boyfriend to the wedding - just what she needs! Not to mention that her mother detests Alec Gordon, the man found dead.

Although I found “The Camera Never Lies” to be interesting, there was just too much flopping around with the characters and events. Sometimes I felt lost as to what was going on and who was involved. However, the author did have some very interesting characters in a plot with numerous twists and turns.
