You are going to enter an adventure that takes place in the state of Oregon, in a very small town called Whiterock. This is a town where everyone knows everyone, and everyone knows all about you. The two main characters in this story are Sally Carruthers and a very handsome stranger who we come to know as Gus. Sally has the task of taking care of her elderly Alzheimer-inflicted father, but her real passion is fashion design, which she has put on hold to work as a seamstress for a local company doing hems and other little duties, but she never stops dreaming the big dream of designing costumes for big play productions. She certainly is talented enough to do this, but her duty as a good daughter has to come first. Gus, who was once an influential and very prosperous executive type himself, has a very sad history. He decided to leave the corporate world to hide out and away from the world because of a heartfelt family tragedy that he blames himself for. Gus takes on the boring job of being a delivery man and has an assignment to deliver items to Whiterock. One of his delivery stops is to Sally Carruthers. Once meeting each other the sparks start to fly…literally! Could it be static electricity, or could it be something more? Try as they might not to become involved with each other, it seems that fate itself holds all the cards.

Along with that passionate plot, we have the town itself, growing and unfolding and revealing its history. There is something very supernatural about the town and it seems as if the town itself, not the residents, but the town itself, is “alive” and wants to continue to grow and repopulate through its residents and through bringing in new blood. Could one of those people be Gus? Gus is seeking forgiveness within himself and Sally is an important part in helping this to happen. Sally too is trying to figure out where her destiny is supposed to be. What is she going to do once her father dies? Will there be anyone there to help her through it all?

As the storyline unfolds it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Your mind may think that the plot goes one way, when it makes a turn and goes in another direction, only to reveal an even better unfolding story. The end of this novel holds the best surprise of all!

I totally loved this passionately heated, romantic thriller! I could relate completely with the small town “feel” and the energy it holds because I live in the same kind of small town. I really liked all of the characters in this novel and the story line was definitely A+! A page turner from the first page to the last! I highly recommend “Improbable Solution” to anyone who loves mysteries and romance novels all mixed into one! Excellent writing indeed!
