Haile Gebre Egziabher has written “Outlook for a Better Life” with the intent of guiding the reader to join him in a willingness to surrender to the love of God, to follow Him more closely, and to create a loving atmosphere to one another. This calls for self examination, decision for change, and acceptance of self, and surrender to God.

Egziabher’s writing reveals an open authenticity and a genuine desire to help the reader cultivate and develop their physical, social, and spiritual elements of life. He writes with clarity as he points out important character traits and values necessary to an “Outlook for A Better Life.” Haile writes with a careful balance of illumination, perception, and inner mastery. He speaks of discernment, and of the importance of weighing the proper proportion of firmness and flexibility to maintain harmony.

An idealist, Egziabher consistently uses positive adjectives and strong action verbs to deliver a challenge to higher aspirations as we, as readers, shape our destiny.

Each of the fifteen chapters of the book is packed with practical information, inspiration, and challenges to apply the teachings of Jesus in our daily lives. I especially enjoyed the chapters dealing with “the sermon on the mount,” “the love chapter – 1 Corinthians 13,” and the chapter dealing with “newness of life.”

Haile Gebre Egziabher’s writing style is unique, his message strong. Themes of “surrendering to God” and “finding happiness through Jesus Christ” are found throughout the book. “Outlook for a Better Life” is a book for anyone looking for meaning in today’s turbulent times and a deeper or new relationship with God.
