Poor Lyla Lassiter, she is head over heels for her boss, Jamie Donlon. Jamie is a gorgeous black male that is the broker/owner of a real estate company. Initially, he has no idea that he is the object of Lyla’s lust. Lyla has been reserving Wednesday nights at home for Jamie. She has sensual encounters with him. If only he knew, so he could be there. Instead it is Lyla, her toy, and her fantasies.

A family emergency allows Jamie to figure out that Lyla is interested in him. He also discovers that she has a bigoted witch for a mother. Lyla’s mother also rides Jamie about her weight. She doesn’t think that large bottoms are attractive, but Jamie does and that is all that counts. Jamie manages to survive Lyla’s mother. He begins to see Lyla. Once he discovers her fantasies about him, he is a very happy man. Feelings begin to develop between the two of them. He introduces her to his bigoted mother and sister. They both have a lot on their hands.

Meanwhile, the erotic encounters continue. These are steamy and well written. Jamie and Lyla make plans to move forward in their future together. In addition to having to deal with the family members, they also have to deal with Jamie’s jealous co-workers. But they prevail and the erotic encounters continue

Ms. Dobbs has done an excellent job tying together incredibly erotic scenes into a great story line. Jamie and Lyla have been created as a great couple. Jamie’s integrity and class make him even more attractive to me as a reader. That is sexy in itself, then you tie in what he can do for Lyla and that he is not emotionally stunted, whew! This is a great story. Too bad “Wednesday Nights with Jamie” is fiction!
