This book is a wake-up call for anyone wanting more productivity, more vitality and more success in life.  Dusan Djukich holds no punches as he powerfully opens your eyes to three different worlds, and how productivity is affected by personal inner stances.  His “Straight-Line” approach is as refreshing and inspiring as it is effective.  He offers incredible insight from a real perspective that empowers people to get moving. 

The tools provided in this book are called “distinctions.”  One’s “inner stance” is the place or perspective a person is coming from, and Djukich clearly shows how important it is to recognize one’s inner stance.  These distinctions and inner stances are defined and broken down by chapter, discussing an empowering distinction and inner stance along with contrasting disempowering distinctions and inner stances.

As a new business owner, I found this book particularly helpful.  I was able to recognize myself and my circumstances in many of Djukich’s examples, allowing me to personalize his words to my own life.  There are many truths uncovered that apply not only in business, but also within personal lives. I will keep this book handy as I recognize from what inner stance I am operating, and how I can spend as much time as possible operating from an empowering inner stance.  I highly recommend “Straight-Line Leadership” to anyone looking to become more productive and successful, professionally and personally.
