Mr. Curry, by all rights is an outdoorsman. He fishes, hunts, drinks beer and tells stories. These stories may sound like tall tales but they are absolutely true. No one could make this stuff up, except maybe a fisherman. Kevin and Cindy (his wife) enjoyed fishing and hunting so much that they moved to the best place for it, Alaska. As I read this book it became evident that these two had the perfect marriage. They both enjoyed being in the wild and with each other.

“Rip Some Lips” is a true story about the actual events of two wonderful people that have a love of the outdoors. This 115 page book is a brief insight into the wonderful world of Kevin and Cindy in Alaska. The stories that Kevin tells are entertaining, humorous and exciting. He shows you the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness as only a writer can portray. With whimsical descriptions and native jargon, Kevin makes “Rip Some Lips” a literary adventure you won’t want to miss.

With its fine writing and a nice complement of pictures on almost every page, “Rip Some Lips” is a good read for anyone who likes the outdoors. Mr. Curry has shown me that a good writer can take the reader to far away places and allow him to experience the thrill of those places, without even leaving his chair.

“Rip Some Lips” deserves an A+ rating and I recommend it to all.
