Looking for an introductory set of lessons on an MBA from the Harvard Business School?  If you read this book, you’ve come to the right place.  This is an excellent overview of what it takes to earn an MBA.  Ms. Chan provides the reader with the basics, articulated in clear and often easy- to-understand terms.  She shows you how the system works, providing anecdotal support and numerous citations the reader can refer to for more in-depth knowledge.

“Harvard Business School Confidential” explains management decision-making and management concepts that guide the reader through often intricate and complex systems with ease.  Ms. Chan gives her audience solid business acumen and advice, based on her education at that well-known and respected institution, and her experiences in real life.  She shows you how to move your business forward, even in the face of economic troubles.

In something more than 200 pages of concise information, Ms. Chan covers a variety of topics, from how money works through the financial system, to human resource issues businesses face, from negotiation skills to understanding human behavior in the business world.  She walks easily through marketing principles, planning and strategy development, weaving all parts together to form a comprehensive look at what and how an MBA works.
