Bella, a thirty-nine-year-old and still single, shop owner, is seeking her heart’s desire.  This desire would involve a “passionate lust-crazed man” who will want her forever.  Her life drastically changes when she wins a bid on a pair of red stilettos.  These aren’t just any pair of shoes. They were created by a magical shoemaker from Italy.  These shoes are designed to fulfill the heart’s desire of their owners.  Bella specifically sought out these shoes with the purpose of sharing them with her close girlfriends. 

Taking her turn with the shoes first, Bella finds herself falling into the arms of a handsome, sexy man named Rhys.  He rescues her from falling off a ladder in her shop.  They each are immediately drawn to one another.  Rhys finds himself going back to her shop to get to know her better.  As they share their passion for each other, he gets to know her very well. 
           
“Head Over Heels: Red Stilettos” by Paris Brandon is the perfect novella for women who have not outgrown their enjoyment of fairy tales; although, this is definitely a fairy tale written for adults.  I totally enjoyed reading it.  The dialogue and intimate encounters between the two main characters are lively and well described.  This is a perfect book to read when you need a break and want to escape into someone else’s fantasy.
