As a retired Chief of Police it was my responsibility to set the mission, vision, and strategy for the organization, as well as ensure it achieved the goals and objectives we set.  I also teach graduate school courses in Leadership, Organizational Development, and High Performance Organizations.  I’ve read hundreds of books, conducted considerable research on the subject, and wrote my own book, “Leading Beyond Tradition”.  Bud Bilanich’s book is one I am adding to my library; it is a winner.

Clarity, commitment, execution, and relationships are the four keystones of an incredibly simple, yet profound management and leadership model.  Mr. Bilanich explains them and provides the reader with a book-long case study on their individual and collective application.  This is leadership and organizational performance at its best.  This is a how-to map for a winning organization with a common sense, but real approach.  This book should be added to every leader’s library and would be an excellent required read for any college or university business student.  Well done Mr. Bilanich.
