In his third volume of “Personal Spirituality,” the author provides thirteen chapters dealing with topics such as out-of-body experiences, nature’s spirits, angels, channeling, and meditation.

This is a huge book to read and it takes time to read. One must not start this book with the intention of hurrying through. Readers need to read some, reflect and then read more. Each chapter is filled with qualitative research and Biblical quotations with personal stories. At the end of each chapter Benor provides a summary,

One of the things I liked was that the author did provide sound evidence for his information, yet was not afraid to dispel any myths or any of his shortcomings. With health care today rising and many not having it, this type of healing is certainly an alternative or can be used as a complementary approach.

There are many topics in this book such as out-of-body experiences, channeling and spirits and angels that many people experience, but don’t know why. The author’s explanations and examples will give readers a good starting point to explore more information.

I do think that many, even though they are searching for a well-balanced life, will not want to read through this massive book. And those that are skeptic about such topics will not keep an open mind about Benor’s writing. I would like to see a shorter, simpler version of “Personal Spirituality” for those who are interested but do not want to struggle reading all this information. I find Dr. Benor’s books to be informative and give readers many options to find their balanced life.
