“A Sublime Celestial Blessing” contains a collection of short stories written by Australian author A.G. Bennett. The stories cover a wide range of unusual topics and generally revolve around eccentric characters. I found them to be entertaining though on the macabre side. Through Bennett’s stories, he takes a different look at human nature. Much of what he writes about is rather unsettling, which causes you to be drawn further into the story. I found myself laughing at some of his tales which I would never admit to other people because it would enlighten them about my twisted sense of humor.

I really enjoyed reading this collection of stories. If you enjoy short stories or have a really busy schedule and don’t have time to read full length novels, then this book will definitely provide you with the breaks that you need. You can enjoy a story and not have to worry about not being able to get back to it immediately; the other stories will be waiting. I wish that “A Sublime Celestial Blessing” was longer so that I could continue to enjoy Bennett’s creativity. I look forward to future works by this author.
