If you are looking for the definitive book on what the Tea Party movement really looks like and what it means, this is the book for you.  Dr. Baker has assembled an easy-to-read and understand book that powerfully describes the resurgence of conservative principles in America.  He is both timely and right on in his descriptions of not only what’s wrong, but what is necessary to restore the precious basics of America.

“Tea Party Revival” provides the reader, regardless of party affiliation or ideological belief, an historic perspective, couched in current issues, what the Constitution was based on and how it is being interpreted today.  He discusses power, the importance of state’s rights (an extremely critical point), what is happening economically to our nation, and what needs to be done.

Dr. Baker provides lessons to us on how and why the Constitution and government were created in the manner they were – a history lesson that should be required in all schools.  He describes five basic principles that would provide all Americans with the best opportunities, all as prescribed within the Constitution, rather than re-writing it or assuming it is a “living document.”  The principles he provides are spot on and his articulation of each is well done.  Adherence to the Constitution, smaller government, state’s rights, individual rights and freedoms, and fiscal responsibility is the roadmap to get us back to the greatness and pride in country we need to restore.

As the author of “Leading Beyond Tradition,” my own book, I must congratulate Dr. Baker on his work.  This is a must read for all Americans, certainly those in political office, voters, and students, many of whom do not understand the path we’re on.  This book additionally describes the consequences of continuing down the same path we’ve been on for years – the long-term results of decisions made that have serious and negative outcomes for our children and theirs as well.  Dr. Baker has made a compelling and interesting case.  I highlighted valuable information on almost every page, and “Tea Party Revival” by Dr. B. Leland Baker will become a useful tool for many a discussion.  Well said and done sir.
