Happiness Minutes: 53 Steps towards Fulfillment
“There is no valid reason to postpone happiness.” How simple is that? Correct, but in today’s hustle and bustle many do not slow down to smell the flowers, see the rainbows, or watch a child grow. It takes a book like “Happiness Minutes” to make us see what has been in front of us all along. Designed for one simple exercise each week you will be instructed to read the message alone or along with the audio download and think about it. Make notes in the space provided and come back to it during the week. Decide on positive benefits to your life and then move on to the next exercise. I recommend spending the full week only because we are all keyed in on instant gratification and waiting will do you some good. With great topics like, “Persistence,” “Ya Gotta have a Foundation,” and “Happy Parents = Happy Kids,” just about every life event is covered. I read aloud and listened to each exercise for the review and have seen the improvements that I have made. As a family we are now reading each exercise aloud and making our own notes working through everything together. Being a fan of self-help books, having read and re-read “The Pursuit of Happiness” years ago by David Ambrose I recommend highly this simple manual – “Happiness Minutes: 53 Steps towards Fulfillment.” |
