In the year 798 A.D., two Viking brothers, Valr and Haukr, also known as the Hawk and the Falcon, have angered a selfish, jealous goddess.  In retaliation, she puts a curse on them that joins them in one body with two souls throughout eternity.  The story continues in modern times where the two men are sent to protect a child who is part of an ancient prophecy.  This child has the ability to lead people to the Torch of Light.  Her father who is an evil being wants this Torch and all that it represents.  He will use it for evil purposes that will help destroy the world as we know it.  The girl is in danger. 

When the Vikings appear as one man to Linnea, the girl’s mother, both souls are very attracted to her.  Linnea has been hiding out for a very long time with a traveling Faire group.  She knows that her daughter’s father is evil and will hurt them both.  While she has made some good, honorable friends, she has avoided any kind of physical relationship with a man.  That is until the Viking shows up. She finds herself unable to resist.  She discovers the secret that he is hiding.  The two souls discover that they are both falling for her.  They also know that both she and her daughter are in serious danger and need their protection.  Destiny has also brought them together to deal with their curse.

“Piercing the Veil” by R.G. Alexander is a wonderfully written erotic tale that incorporates magic and legend into a great love story.  It is definitely great reading material to fuel your fantasies. Two hot Vikings, one woman, what more could you ask for?
